ACM Global Announces Key Appointments across UK and US facilities

Global Central Laboratory Strengthens Team with Significant Scientific, Operational and Sales Hires

York, England and Rochester, NY, July 12, 2010 – ACM Global, the global central laboratory that continually defines the customer-service standard with its flexible approach, has announced several key appointments at its UK and U.S. sites across business development, operations and scientific teams.

Key appointments in the UK include Zoe Denham as project manager, Barnaby le Clerq as Business Development director and Ros McCabe, PhD, as analytical scientist. le Clerq has more than six years business development experience in the medical and pharmaceutical service industry and based in Northern France, which is ideally placed to continue expanding the business across Europe. Dr. McCabe has a wealth of academic and scientific expertise to bring to her role in which she will be responsible for carrying out the company’s increasing flow cytometry and ELISA method analysis, along with method development, validation and routine analysis.

In the United States, ACM Global has also invested in scientific expertise with the appointment of Dr. Hua-Kang Wu, PhD, QCYM (ASCP), MB (ASCP) as director of Molecular and Cellular Diagnostics and Cholpady P. Kamath, MD, director of Anatomic Pathology, board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.

Furthermore, Tracy Hendershott has been promoted to executive director, Global Operations; a role in which he will oversee the strategy, standardization and integration of ACM Global’s facilities and partner labs as the company continues to expand its global footprint.
